Dates for Payroll

• 6th April - New tax year commences
  
  
• 19th April* - Final payment over to HMRC for previous tax year
  
  
• 19th May- Payment of Paye for April to be received by HMRC
  
  
• 19th May - Return of forms P14 (EDI) and P35 to the Inspector of Taxes
  
  
• 31st May - Issue of P60 to all current employees
  
  
• 19th June -Payment of Paye for May to be received by HMRC
  
  
• 6th July - Return of forms P9D/P11D to the inspector of taxes
  
  
• 19th July - Payment of Paye for June to be received by HMRC
  
  
• 19th July* - Payment of Class 1A NIC in respect of benefits
  
  
• 19th August- Payment of Paye for July to be received by HMRC
  
  
• 19th September - Payment of Paye for August to be received by HMRC
  
  
• 19th October - Payment of Paye for September to be received by HMRC
  
  
• 19th October - Payment over of tax and Class 1B NIC in respect of PSAs
  
  
• 19th November - Payment of Paye for October to be received by HMRC

• 19th December - Payment of Paye for November to be received by HMRC

• 19th January - Payment of Paye for December to be received by HMRC

• 19th February - Payment of Paye for January to be received by HMRC

• 19th March – Payment of PAYE for February to be received by HMRC 

• 5th April - Tax year ends

*22nd of the month for electronic payments all Payments to HMRC must be made electronically from the 6th April 2013
